It's plain BF2142. No mods, no booster packs (eg, Northern Strike).

It pretty much means a game with no updates, no new things, no nothin to make it less craptacular.

So a vanilla should be submitted into the dictionary as

But no, 1.25 is still vanilla. It is used in the context of Mods and boosters/expansions to differentiate form the original game with no add-ons, but still with the latest patches.
