Yeah, I missed the HL stuff because I wasn't gaming when they came out. It's been fun to play and the graphics are really good.

To catch up quickly if you have missed the original HL series with it's characters I recommend looking them up from Wikipedia. Since the graphics in the HL series are not anymore anywhere near top notch this is the quickest way to catch up on the story. This makes the HL2 series much more enjoyable since you can enjoy the embedded humor.
