Okay ive re installed numerous times and re downloaded the patch from different sites, ive even tried the beta 2 patch and it wont work, what happens is when it starts patching immediately it will say update failed, and thats it. I have tried all sorts and i cant get this to work, it has worked for ages and when i went to re install it i find i cant patch! Any help please would be much appreciated.

Hi ive heard about youre problem before. one of my friends had it. well the only things that i can think of doin is:
1. redownload the patch
2. reinstall bf
3. wait till the next patch which shouldent be long
4. do a system restore.

Do you think it could be linked with windows install shield? try downloading it from microsoft and reinstall it.Comment
