See the old one got deleted, decided to make a new one. Talk about Halo 3, how it differs from BF2142, if it's better, etc.

On a side note, what Halo soldiers think of PS3

Wow. You really need to be more open to other games in other consoles. Sure halo is a bit overrated but IMO it's good. I don't play multiplayer anyway, just campaign.

Your kidding right? If i had to play halo 3 i would screw the campaign and head straight to muliplayer. The halo 1 campaign is so easy its not even funny.
The biggest problem i have with halo 2 and 3 is that they are just $60 expansion packs. What did halo 2 add? A few vehicles, a few weapons and dual-wielding(which is nothing new in it self). I havnt even heard what halo 3 has added. All i ever hear is "OMFG HALO 3 IS TEH BEST GAME EVAR!!!1!!11!!111!!!". A true sequal would advance the story, add new weapons, maps( if i recall blood gulch == coagulation, battle creeek == beaver creek, and i sure there are more recycled maps) vehicles and most of all new gameplay features. Nothing sets halo apart from other shooters other than its popularity.

I dunno, people say it's overrated etc...but almost every game review site gives it a 9+/10. And no MS isn't bribing them

Yes, I do read. And it goes something like this;

• Satisfying storyline that simultaneously provides closure while making you wonder what will happen next
• Four-player online co-op is a lot of fun
• Forge mode map editor lets you do some extremely crazy and unexpected things
• Web integration makes sharing new maps and custom modes easy.

An amazing replay editor, four-player online co-op, map editor, and community support make this the most robust feature set ever in a videogame.

There are a few questionable design choices in the campaign, but this series remains the most fun first-person shooter on the planet. Multiplayer and the Forge are fantastic.

HALO 3 graphics don't even come close to those of heavenly sword, lol, so I reckon all of the above "Biased or retarded or unprofessional or bribed"

I think the reason it's getting the high scores is because they wont dare give it anything less, because of all the people that think it's the "best game ever"

Here's a conversation I go through a lot (mostly in real life, not on forums though)

People Obsessed with Halo3: OMG! Halo 3 is so awesome! Its the greatest game ever! The graphics are amazing!!!
Me: Well, I think it sucks, what about HL2 part 2, TF2, Crysis, Bioshock, or even older games like Oblivion and BF2142 (sometimes)? Sometimes I mention Heavenly Sword too...

Most people think the Halo games are so incredibly awesome because, for the most part, they don't know what else is out there and they're kinda "jumping on the band wagon." There are all sorts of other games just as good, and definitely better that they haven't even herad of.


Edit: the other thing I don't understand is how Halo 3 could get such high reviews. It may be an improvement of Halo 2 which was an improvement of Halo, which was a good game, I'll admit, but still. There isn't any inovation in a game in a series that only changes what a patch or expansion might in a PC game!
