Inavlid CD key

Hey I have a Macbookpro and I recently downloaded Battlefield 2142. After I downloaded it I created an account and when i tried to log in an error kept on popping up saying I had an invalid cd key. I've re-downloaded it, and have created new accounts. What should i do?

Where did you download it off of? Was it EA Downloader?

I downloaded it from the DVD CD that I bought from the Apple store.
