Stupid BF thinkings

So what are some stupid things you thought when you were new to 2142? Here's some of mine:
The defib - when I first picked it up off some dead guy's kit I thought it was some sort of land mine.
Commander - Did not understand how that worked at all lol, I thought it was AI controlled and the UAV was the supply aircraft, plus I thought that the communications CP in Sidi was the one that game you area scans. :laugh:
Not really stupid, but just noticed, the Baur has a little thing that slides out the left side of the gun when you switch to rockets/shotgun.

I thought the Titan was the thing that dropped supply crates, and like many I didn't know about the titan launch pods until I found a 2142 guide online :p

I spent ages trying to shoot a squad leaders move to marker. Though it was some form of enemy scanner.

It just kept flashing, so I kept shooting.

I thought a commander's job was to snipe people.

I thought an APC was a CP on wheels and if you stand beside it you can capture it.

i thought you get bonus points for looking at the enemy and getting the red diamond on them. Then if your teammates kill your target, you get a teamwork score or something

Didn't know how to read the 3d hub.

Didn't know what direction to be pushing most times on conquest maps.

I was atrocious at flying any of the air vehicles.

It also took me a few rounds to see the difference between the two factions uniforms. I still remember my very first kill. During the demo as I walking along an enemy rounded a corner, he immediately dolphin-dived and I zoomed in. A second later the red diamond came up and I started shooting at him. Luckily he coudln't hit crap because of the prone penalty and I killed him
