Stat padders ruin the game - looking for good servers

I know most people are very disappointed by DICE not supporting BF2142 anymore and letting all these bugs and cheats unpatched, but I'm getting more and more frustrated by abusive players.

Last night I was in a Titan, my team was fighting to keep raiders out until the enemy Titan shield were down too, when I notice a guy actually knifing teammates (!) in Titan guns, just to sit in their place and get another best kill streak or something. I tried many times to kick vote him out, but no one seemed to be aware of what he was doing or simply did not care at all. I was so pissed off that I started hunting him down all around our Titan, standing right beside him and shooting him in the head every time he did that again. I got myself some teamkills on him, but at least he stopped ruining everyone else's game too.

I'd like to hear some suggestions for good servers, preferably Titan mode, with good administration and real kick/ban every time a player consistently brakes the rules.

Maybe you didn't read what I posted: he was *knifing* our teammates to take their place in the guns. This is the definition for kick/ban in any decent server in the world.

However, rage quitting and posting a topic about something so trivial doesnt make sense. Especially when you say you are "tired of this game".

check the legionatwar.com titan server. they run a titan server out of dallas. very good server and admins are usually on.

about the kick vote, i too have been frustrated over the no one votes obvious cheats out, i worked out that alot of players have the vote option turned off in their game settings.
i used to have them turned off in the early days (kick votes every 3 seconds lol)

1) Locked Titans is not how you play Titan mode. Whats the purpose then? Its conquest with silos, because a) no body wants to take 3 years to take a transport/APC all the way across the map (Verdun, Suez, argh). And b) because Titans are supposed to be huge flying fortresses streaming down explosives on hapless infantry.

2) Fact: atleast HALF of all votekicks are for stupid/false reasons.

1, this was to the guy who complained at the titan gunners ruining the game
and titans too close cause lagg, fyi a good commander leaves the titans where they are, thats how the games meant to be played, independantly NOT your version.
2, nearly ALL kick votes are for stupid reasons, that is why most have the vote option turned OFF, so when some one is cheating the dont get kicked via a vote.

I personally just leave any server that has rulez imposed that I dont like or behaviour that spoils the fun.

I like to play with default options turned on, move the titan, arty the main base, Jhad the jeep, drop a supply crate on their commander if he's foolish enough to be lying in the open etc....

You'll never see me vote kick someone from the other team for being more creative than me, only if there's an exploit being used. If no one responds to my vote I leave and go else where, there's plenty of servers out there. Just remember to add those that you have a good experience on to your favourites list and keep going back.

There's nothing you can't counter in this game with a change of kit and a bit of creative thinking.

I am a Titan admin so if saying your own servers are a great place and generally advertising let me know and I will edit the post.

Timeless titans well admined. It is also FF off so no tking for guns or tking for vehicles. Not everyones cup of tea because of the rdx fest that usually occurs all over the top of the titans but our titans do move.

Top scorers in the game usally have 120 plus points quite legally.
We don't allow AA guns to spam the other titans without specific targets.
We dont allow combat commanders so they have to command. If the servers are full we usually don't allow them in a console either. This way they concentrate on their job.
We also are strict about language and uneccesary moaning and groaning which spoil the game.

Most of the Timeless players are regulars and will call out to admins if they see someone breaking the rules or glitching etc.
In all our Titan servers are the most popular in the world with the exception of the 64 player servers being rated 12 and 16th in the world. All the servers except the 64 titan servers are cq or ns maps.

As mentioned we have ff off so its not everyones taste but they are full of great personalities... oh.... and Fish..

I don't mind ramming or camping or whatever the other guy does to win the game, I avoid doing some of these things myself, but I'm ok with it. I just can't stand it when someone ruins the game for everybody else in the server.

the timeless titans are in my fav list allready, and yes they are good servers.
ff off is a must in titan mode i have had loads of TK's trying to c4 stuff, you put your packs on then some nub comes in and stands next to the core/console and shoots at it, i used to wait till they moved till i got killed and we never got back in there, so now i just blow it and get the TK.
when the titans could be locked in an update it was to fix the lagg you get when 2 titans are near each other.
allso there are places on some maps where the titans cannot be hit from some silos, the missiles shoot over the titan.

Yeah, it is good to let as many people as you can know your reasoning behind the kick.

When I start a vote I like post a global message simply stating why. That seems to help a little because alert players monitor the in game chat and can help answer when others ask why there is a vote kick. Then I press Page Up a couple of times, too. Also chat with your squad to get them to vote too.
