Help!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please

I just reinstalled BF2142 played it for 2 hours 1 day, then the next day played a game and on the 2nd game it just froze, i couldnt even use Ctrl, alt, delete. so i had to restart the computer. does any no y this is or hav an idea of how to fix it.

hi,

maybe if you hit the 'search' button on this forum and type 'freeze' or 'game freeze', the sollution might just show!

or even better, read one of the stickied post above!! (there are a few handling about the problem you have)

ok i hav a feeling this has somethin to do with my crashin issue, when i get on a server it says this...
PB reports: running old version 1.07 ( or somethin like that anyway) but it says this even tho i hav the latest patch.
Also now i am losin my connection to the EA server. Y is this please help!!!

The PB version is not related to what patch you are using. You probally need to update punkbuster. There are plenty of threads on how to update pb.

updated punkbuster still keeps freezing!! now wat?
also it still says PB reports PB server running old version c1.709
