You must be at least...was it 400 or 500? meters away from the titan when someone enters your transport for their credit. Once that happens, they are tagged as credit-able. If they pod off your transport onto the enemy titan, you get a titan airdrop.

Altitude can't be too high either- below something like 250 or 300m. Give it a try, and if you get the point it'll tell you. I start high (300 m or so) at an off angle (so they're less likely to see you coming) and dive in so I come in fast. Then flare right over the titan, at about 200 m. The flare give a second or two for the podders to see there drop zone and eject.) I don't always live long enough to get away, but I make the drop over 95% of the time.

(If you do it right, this is IMO a safer way to deliver a squad leader with a beacon than landing, if the AA guns are hot.)
