Side Games

People play different games on 2142 either while waiting for a new game to start or people just lock the server and play something specific. A few examples;

Sniper Wars - Everyone is a sniper and/or everyone is against everyone.

Assassination - Each team has a head person that is the target. The entire goal of the game is to kill that one person while you or your own team try to protect your person.

Convoy - One team has all the vehicles and its their goal to make it to a certain spot on the map with the main vehicle. Opposite team is to destroy said main vehicle before it gets to its goal. ( It sounds easy, but since you have no vehicles, its actually a bit tough.)

Other than the regular games and these three mentioned, does anyone know of others or even variations of the three above?

capture the flag is an obvious one. stick an apc in the middle of the map and that becomes the flag first one to get it back to their uncap is the winner. Big map needed lol.

Knife only. That's probably the most common one.

I usually practice using my SAAW on unsuspecting pilots.

Pilum and SAAW only is quite fun. It helps the aim out with those weapons.

Shotgun only is pretty fun... Very intense fights :)

The knife or sniper rifles only tend to be the ones I do while waiting for a game to start.

1: RDX Shotgun Only! Fried Cheeseballs anyone? We all go to the Canal at Suez, slap down some ammo boxes and let the fried cheese fly :p
2: PROTECT THE BEACON! When me and my clan are having a TK fest on our unranked, they like to join my squad so they can spawn behind me and shoot me in the back. So, I run into our titan and slap down a beacon. My objective then is to keep the thing safe from my rabid squad members :|:
