Armed Assualt or PR Mod?

I'm looking at the slower paced/reality based FPS's at the moment as a change of pace from the faster 2142.

Which the two of the above game/mods would the good people of tbf2142 recommend?

Are they worth it for a few hours pubbing here or there? Or do you really have to immerse yourself in the game to get the anything out of either?

It's also worth noting I have no BF2 experience so both games are new territory for me!
