Just wondering what you guys think of people who use RDX constantly to get kills (or RDX whores). Do you hate them? do it yourself? or have no particular opinion for it.

It's not TOO bad, but annoying nonetheless. You can easily run back and shoot em. APMs are much, much worse. -

To tell you the truth I don't mind them at all. I play on FF on servers so if they do get me with that they did a good job hiding and waiting. When I did play on FFoff servers it did kind of get annoying along with other things.Comment

I love them... i love seeing them drop dead at the end of my gun when they pod in... i love seeing them going boing boing across the deck untill they fall in a hail of fish`s bullets.. and if i struggle to get them i play them at their own game.. put a rdx on the floor wait till they pod in as soons they land boom.. no more rdx bunny hopping lol and the best one is i love getting the gold star at the end of the game proving that rdx bunny hopping dont really get you anywhere lolComment

I dunno about you guys but I play aggressive RDX-ing. Tunis harbour works best
Toss RDX over the fence and detonate and you get a load of kills. Run round the corner toss one and turn back, detonate. RDX FTW!

I have not experimented with RDX kills... I like to shoot.
I hate the RDXers who run up to you, throw it at their feet, detonate and run away. That is lame.
I know some people are going to go, "Don't play on a server with FF=Off...blah-blah-blah"
It's just not so cut and dried to know what level of friendly fire is on or off on any particular server.Comment

Dude, haha, i just did that and i'm pretty sure i got kicked for it. Funny thing is that I don't think i've ever seen anyone get kicked for it before on that server. I must've rdx'd the admin.Originally posted by ReconKid2142I dunno about you guys but I play aggressive RDX-ing. Tunis harbour works best

I was just laughing yesterday about the RDX bunny hoppers on the FF=off servers. I was on FMJ Camp G where it's FF=Off and got killed several times by those tools. It's by the rules so I guess its allowable but they look so ridiculous jumping toward you. It's more annoying than anything. However, they get their kills. So, to each his own, I guess. However, there has been very few more satisfying deaths to dish out than seeing one of those rods bouncing toward you like some fool....watching him drop that RDX pack at your feet only to feel the wrath of my Clark. Looking at his twitching body.....and then looking down at that undetonated RDX....made me smile....then I stood over his dead body and gave him an extra shotty blast just to make sure he felt the love!
I have NO problem with guys using RDX on FF=On servers. If you can lay the pack, stay in the area, detonate it and get a kill and not kill yourself, you are doing something right in my book.Comment

Yup. Im using them lately and NOT the way that involves jumping. I use them as a last resolve or when the enemy is all packed together below me or on the other side of the wall. A nade wont do it.Comment

What I don't understand is how people can drop, switch, and detonate so fast. Whenever I try to quickly switch to the detonator and blow an RDX pack up it always, and I mean always, automatically switches me back to RDX and drops another pack at my feet. Well okay, it doesn't do it when I'm on my last RDX pack, but still. Most annoying. Always happened to me with C4 in BF2 also. That's why I've never been able to understand how some people can do it so quickly. Do the macros people use somehow prevent the game from auto-switching back from the detonator?

I completely agree and this is why I don't bunny hop and try to drop the stuff. I can't do it quickly enough. I've just resigned myself to the fact that I suck. :yay: :shakehead: I'm sure I would get better if I practiced....I just don't wanna. I think its a lame way to get kills. Give me my guns. I have found that if I see them coming, I can drop them 90% of the time before they get me. It's really more fun than nailing a guy who is trying to knife you.Originally posted by TheRealWolfgangWhat I don't understand is how people can drop, switch, and detonate so fast. RDX players don´t afect me when I am playing infantary.
But when I am playing with a walker I tend to be very carefull of players in the ground, normaly I make a step back and start to run forward with the walker and the squish is very invigorating.
The worst thing with this players is when they stick it in the front of cars and When I see one of those gants speeding to me I try to run in their direction, If I ram them before they detonate normally I don´t die.Comment
