You know I've never been able to repair a supply crate. Whenever I try it doesn't seem to do anything. No repair status bar, or graphics that the gun is even doing anything.

Commander Dropped Supply Crates can be repaired, support soldier dropped ones cannot.

The reason to repair them is, they degrade over time, as supplies are taken out of them, until eventually they blow up.

Repairing them will keep them around much longer, which makes one engineer at Toll station with Motion Mines and EMP Mines effectively able to deny the entire back half of the map on Gibralter without needs a support backup. . .

If they see the motion mines you're not doing your setup correctly deny them the straight show with visible mines. Sorry for the crude ASCII Art. . .

I've done this a few times when there's either been no supply guys around or the ones that are there never pull their supply box out even if you stand next to them screaming about how you need ammo. I figure it'll help others on my team who are passing by and find themselves in the same predicament.
