Can someone explain...

I'm wondering why I havent received the legion of merit ribbon yet. When I go to a stats site or BFHQ it shows i have the time logged but it shows 0/10 best kill streak. When i switch to the details of my player it shows i have 12 best kill streaks. This isnt making sense to me. My player name is t7017s if anyone wants to look up my stats and confirm. Am I misunderstanding something? Is this ribbon bugged and somehting I should report to EA or DICE? I'm wondering what the deal is. Any help is appreciated...

Oh yeah and the solier merit ribbon I have the same thing. I know ive had 10 and 20 kills in a round so this isnt adding up at all. Again any help is appreciated...

You are confusing two things.
The 12 is your personal best kill streak.
But the best kill streak that you need for the ribbon is to be the player that has the best kill streak in a round, of all the players that took part in that round.

So even if you had a kill streak of 100 in one round, it wouldn't count if somebody else had 117 in the same round.

No, it shows a best kill streak of 12, not 12 best kill streaks.

In order to get a best kill streak you have to have the highest number of kills in a round before dying. This is usually the commander as he stays safe and bombs people from a distance lol.

In other words. Finish the game with say a best kill streak of 11 kills before you die, and if no one else beats this you will have a best kill streak of 1

Finish another game with 15 kills in a row and no deaths and no one else beats this you will have a kill streak of 2 and so on.

I found being commander worked best to get this in conquest games.

Where can i find how many best kill streaks I've had. Clearly the stat is kept... and yet i cant seem to find it in bfhq or a stats site? Am I simply not seeing this stat somewhere?

You have already found it. In the first post of this topic, you told us that the Best Kill Streak read 0/10. This means you have never had the largest kill streak in a round. Also, signing your posts is not a good idea.

Check on BFHQ, look at your ribbons for Legion of Merit, and Soldier Merit, and that will tell you how many best kill streaks you have.

The kill made by arty as a commander count for the kill streak and k/d ratios?
Didn´t know...now I know how to get to that elusive 3:1 kill death ratio...going commander :)

You need to have the best kill streak among ALL players in any given round. Your best bet is a titan round in the guns - I looked at your stats and you die way too much to keep a good kill streak.
