    Random Connection Problems

Whenever I am playing bf 2142 i get these annoying Connection Problems, what normaly happens is i am walking then " Connection Problems" pops up, then i am transported a few steps back. This is verry annoying as i die ALOT when this happens (my kdr sucks now). here are my system specs. just in case.
    2.00 GHz amd athlon 64 x2
2 gb dual channel super talent ram ddr2 800
256mb winfast geforce px8500 gt tdh (dx 10)
    Gigabyte s series mobo
80 gb sata 3gb/sc harddrive (rpm escapes me @ the moment)
    Windows Vista Home Edition

(note: this is a custom pc, built by me, so i am the adminsitrater)

Its not my hardware i have much more than than required for the game.

    Thank you!

whats your internet connection like and what ping are you getting on the servers. yo could also try turning down your graphics just to find out if that fixes the problem or not.

Are you running any other software on the back-ground that periodically uses the net to "check for updates"? Usually it's not problem, but some software companies run very limited servers where it takes forever to download anything.

          Server issues

Most Likely its the server. I have gotten those in the past but it really depends on if there is any interference between your wireless and the router, then there are the issues of the connection to the server.

Basically if your connection with the Web is fine then it should only happen once in 3 hours.
