    Silver Engineer Excellence Badge

I could never get this badge. I needed 10 repair points which looks simple but they aren't. I had to get this badge doing the worst thing possible. Blowing up my team's machines, then committing suicide and then repairing them. I ended up with -10 points but I got it. If I had more buddies I could of asked them a favour but I only have a few who never go on. :hmm:

What about you, did you do the same or did you get help of someone?

Titan mode, repair the guns. You could easily get 30 repair points in a round. Kinda boring though.

that really is the worst technique I have ever heard for getting this badge;because of your age we'll let it go without to much criticism;if you are stuck for ideas on how to get awards -check out the comprehensive awards guide(in the forum stickies)

Really, just repair the titan guns, I feel bad for you trying to get the badge so hard and not realising the ultra-easy way to do it.

Eh, you know, you don't have to get all the badges, they are just for your personal satisfaction and some points.
And how satisfying is it to get a badge that way?

Please warn us when you try for the Gold badge, we might want to keep a safe distance

And let me second, or more likely 117th, the Titan guns.

You can get 8 points for bringing them online, and the rest from repairing manned guns.
Just wait for a round where the guns are in use, and start repairing.

NO,NO,NO,NO. I tried the titan guns before that, i got the points but it didn't tell me the, "you got 1 repair point" message. So it never came out by doing that. I had to do it like that cause repairing titan guns didn't work.

Got mine pretty easy on the first attempt with the upgraded DysTek Repair v2.0 unlock. All I did was hang about in a jeep next to (OK.. behind, I'm a coward) our tanks and APC's while they engaged walkers and other tanks

There has to be someone in the seat for you to get the Repair Point. I know it's odd and the way it works it seems to give you like a couple of points when there is noone in the seat, but after that you have to repair the guns when someone is sitting there.

It's really easy to get in that scenario with the upgraded DysTek 2.0 and some loon on the AA trying to wipe out your guns... just repair them and don't kill the git.

Repairing the Titan guns has always been confusing.

You can get 8 points by repairing 'red status' Titan guns to full health 8 times. You get no message to tell you about those points for some reason. So, you repair all four guns twice, or keep repairing the same gun over and over while it's being AA spammed.

If someone is sitting in the guns while you repair them you'll get an on-screen message of a repair point. If there is a 'red status' gun, hop in and Q-spot, "repairs needed" and "get in". Any clever nearby mates should understand when you hop into the chair and out again.

During the above repairing sessions, take trips out to repair vehicles and commander assets. If there is an Armor push, pod out to an FAV and drive behind the armor to repair multiple vehicles. This can be challenging to get into position and then race to the next. Good times.

This can be fun if the Titans move to a strategic location and the guns are in-use and being attacked frequently. You can spawn on Titan, check guns, head out into the battle. Rinse and repeat.

I'll try those when I get to have Gold badge of it. I shud of asked 1st b4 blowing up my own team's machines. :salute:
So i can only get the repair points if they are sitting. Ok, thx...

Add another for the Titan guns.

And I'm not ashamed to admit that more than one of my (meager) G/B/S Stars came from repairing T guns.

                              OK... a little ashamed.
