Hi - anyone got any tips for the pistol gold badge - I am fast approaching the 300 kills, but 18 kills in a round!!!

What is easier to achieve this - Titan or Conquest?

Any particular map recommended or size of server?

I'd recommend conquest because there's more infantry together, maybe try recon and camo past enemies to get them from behind. Or try a couple of shots with the main weapon then switch to your pistol to finish them off. I'd expect Gibraltar to be one of the best for getting this, followed by Cerbere, but they are my favourite 2 maps anyway. Either way I haven't got enough kills to go for this badge myself yet though..

have tried most things, eg. wounding with main weapon and switching to pistol & I must admit I thought Camp G & Cebere, but I can only get around 10 kills on a good day - along way to go though!!

I will give recon and camo a go - it worked for the knife gold so ya never know.

64 Camp Gibraltar, Recon, Camo -- the rest is up to you.

Depends on the server, but my experience is that Titan rounds last considerably longer than Conquest rounds, so time-wise Titan would be your best bet. I got over 18 pistol kills using Park 52 + Takao on a Titan match, but I didn't have the global kills necessary for it so I didn't get the badge. Never re-tried for it either, though. :hmm:

In my experience these games fly through - surely you would never get the chance to rack up 18 pistol kills - hey what the hell, i'm game for anything

I got 16 kills with the pistol on one round but i didn't have the 300 kills yet. So that womped. I'm still trying to get the gold badge. I think i am going to get this in a small 32 man server. More tickets to go around for so few players :)

Got mine on Tunis, during a very long round...using the baur in single shot. shoot once, then switch to pistol. don't bother trying to get the pistol badge unless you're using the Takao. I was playing assault so I could heal. I suppose support would be the next best option, as ammo is slim in the pistols.

I got 19 on a titan map once.

Ran around with camo and capped them with two quick point black headshots. When you get hurt there should be a health pack laying around somewhere, or check the guy you killed. If he's assault lay down a medpack and switch back to your kit. This was as EU.

Really not too hard if they're giving your titan a big assault.

EU pistol=More recoil, more damage, slow firing rate.
PAC pistol=No recoil,less damage,faster firing rate.

try spazzing, always works for me, run in (loaded on caffeine) with a good trigger finger (if ur pac), or good aim (eu), and shoot anything that moves.... on ur team...

But with fewer players theres less players that you can catch unaware.

Well everyone's giving you the same strats, but I got another one.

Titan mode, any map (preferably Suez), 28 players. Shoot people with your Pilum and then finish them off with your pist .
