    Who prefers NS to Vanilla?

I think I'm one of the few who really dislikes Camp Gibralter and all those other vanilla maps but I seem to love the NS maps particularily Liberation of Leipzig and Port Bavaria. You can be imaginative with them and more tactical where as with Camp G and Cerbere you seem to be strained into this dull bottleneck kind of gameplay you get with Counterstrike. I'm not a fan of the wide open spaces of Verdun (etc) or the Demo Pack spam fest that is the Titan; Assault Lines fits the bill just nicely with the Golliath and stuff. I also prefer the uniforms and the story is more up lifting for the EU as they're on the counter offensive now.

    Who else?

Kinda Mixed. When I play too much Vanilla, I play NS. A good change every now and then.

That is like asking who likes playing on dead servers vs populated servers. NS suffered the same fate as every other booster pack, segregation and a premature death. :salute:

If we think about it, "Northern Strike" is vanilla. It's just three extra maps and a few more weapons/unlocks. So, if I have to decide, I'd say the Northern Strike version of vanilla. I'd rather have N.S. on my hard drive than not have it.

In answer to Talbot's question, I like variety. I do like open maps and bottleneck maps, and indeed every kind of map. For me, the important thing is that the server should rotate every kind of map possible to relieve monotony. That's why I have no time for servers which play the same damned map over and over again! Even the most fun map becomes boring after the twentieth time!

Has it? I seem to be able to find a heavily populated server for NS every night.

I tell a lie, I do like Vanilla maps (I called it that because I couldn't think of anything better) but I would take NS ones over Vanilla ones any day. Personal preference really.

I don't like NS... the Goliath is WTFPWND on wheels for all but an engy as PAC.

As EU it all breaks down to PAC walker spam.

                      BOTH

The goliath is not as powefull as i first thought it was going to be. Can't believe ppl won't spend `$10 on NS.

The only reason I bought NS is because of Port Bavaria
