I rather like BF2142 compared to BF2. It's not perfect, but then again, BF2 wasn't either. I could list all the different things I like from each game... Maybe later I'll post/edit it back in.

Ive got a feeling this game's shelf life is now expiring - well said dutch dude all valid points;I think EA and DICE made some big mistakes with the 2142 project;it could have been the all time greatest imo if it weren't so buggy

Aye i get what you mean, i havent played it recently cos of Bioshock, CSS and UT, it lives in the shadow of BF2, which while being flawed in a lot of ways was just more of a game really and was a lot of fun

2142 is great and all but doesnt have that spark

If only BF2 had never been ruined and fixed properly...

It has been almost a year and in that time we've only had three new maps. Can't keep playing the same game over and over. Got to say I've had my £30's worth though and more. Never played a game this much before and will still have the occasional round. Skills drop off sharply though when you stop playing lol

yeah but I will think twice about buying anymore EA/DICE titles becuase of the bugs in 2142.The games market is cuthroat and competitive so I doubt they were laughing that much -if Im thinking it others are thinking it... :p if you actually read my post properly I did not state that 2142 had been a big mistake;rather mistakes were made during the 2142 project....Im takinga break from the game anyways but IM going to load some of the excellent mods that are available before I give it up for good...

Neither of them is even scheduled for release before November.
And when finally released they may suck, just like we were shown with all the ET:QW hype.

So what games that actually exists are you going to play?

And please stop with these "I quit" posts, there are more than a 1000 active members on this forum, so we could very likely have 2 or 3 of them each day if everybody did that.
