    PC won't recognize disc...

    I just popped in my Battlefield 2142 disc and that usually pop-up screen never appeared. So I waited for another minute, then just clicked the 2142 icon in the desktop. The splash screen appeared, but the a message popped up saying Please ensure the Battlefield 2142 install disc is in the drive. Is there anyway I can clean the disc or play online without one? I don't have the latest patch, if that matters =/.

          Yes, it's been working for around 6-8 months now.
