Whats up with patch 1.4 beta?

Okay I have been out of the loop for a while... Whats up with the 1.4 beta patch, i didnt even pay attention to the beta part, I just downloaded the latest patch and went with it.. There is only like 5 servers and not many people play it.

Is there an easy way to downgrade back to 1.25, or will they be releasing an official 1.4 patch soon or what? I don't enjoy playing with so little people.

No and probably not.

You cannot downgrade a patch, you will have to do a reinstall and patch up to 1.25
1.40 has been in beta for a long time now, so there is no reason to expect a release anytime soon. But DICE havent given any release date, so it could happen.

Set your resolution down to 800x600 and the people won't be so little anymore.
