Big problem!

When i start BF2142 and log in to my EA account and then select my soldier it just keep loading and it dont reacts anymore even not if I do crtl+alt+del:cry:

Type: Presario

My specs are:

Windows XP Home SP2
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
1 GB of RAM
MSI ATI Radeon X800GTO 256 MB
145 GB Hard Drive

No after it's connected to the EA master server you get that menu where you can see your scores, last unlocks, buddies etc and it gets stuck there

You could try deleting the soldiers profile folder in My Documents/Battlefield 2142
If it is the first soldier you created it will be folder 0001.
You will need to set up your controls, video sound etc for that soldier again.
Clear your cache aswell

You could try deleting the soldiers profile folder in My Documents/Battlefield 2142 and then login and retrieve it if needed at the soldier select screen.
If it is the first soldier you created it will be folder 0001.
You might need your login details or your soldier may just re-appear on its own, but you will need to set up your controls, video sound etc for that soldier again.
Clear out the contents of the cache folder aswell: My Documents\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\cache

sorry to butt in but, if u delete ur soldier like that, does it only get rid of his settings not his awards or even him self etc?

If you delete the folder in My Documents, your soldier will still appear in your list.
If you delete your soldier in game, you risk losing your stats, awards, etc

i've got 2 options for you:

-try putting all firewalls/ virusscan off.
-and then the magical sollution that works for every problem in BF2142: delete the radial.cdb file!!! kill it!!! make sure it never comes back!!!!!

Firewalls are off and i have not a virusscan and NO GO!:cry:
And what is radial.cdb file and lose i all my scores and unlocks when i delete it?

radial.cbd is a retarded file that keeps on crashing everybodies BF2142 because it gets corrupted somehow.

i have to delete it every time i want to play, so yes its safe to delete it.

there are millions of other threads here that will explain you how to delete it.

when it gets corrupted, it normally makes your game freeze, but i've had other sympthons like not being able to log in etc.
