¿What is the "2" number near the player?

I registred only to make a simple question, ¿what means the nunber "2" colored in red like Battlefield 2, that apear near the name of the player in the rank list of the server play?

That means that the guy played bf2.

I played BF2 too, how can i obtain that so? is because you use the same player name in BF2142 than BF2?

Is any reward for that?

I don't know if the veteran program still works but before the game release there was a site where you inputed your BF2 name and password and you could reserve your BF2142 soldier name, and the rewards are that you have the 2 and a free unluck/rank.

You would of had to of been a part of the verterans programme that ran before the 2142came out! I registered my name while i was doing the beta test of 2142. hehe.
