2142Pro sucks at what it tries to do..... balance out the game. I mean it does stack the deck in favor of people who never play pub (no wonder so many competition teams love it), but that's all it does.

Both teams get krylovs (after team switch).

Sometimes the voss w/ it's 10 extra rounds is really great.

I play pubbies all the time. Pro mod doesn't bother me at all.

Really? I thought promod had Scar 11 and Voss for EU and Krylov and Baur for PAC.

clanmod is just first unlocks so scar11 and kyrlov alot better than promob which is crap i think

Promod is fine... I like how the guns' firing sounds actually are accurate to its ROF. Other than that, I'm probably the only guy in all of promod who uses Baur for PAC. HAHA!

Yeah the only thing I like about Promod is how they fixed the weapon sounds.

BF2142 Clan Mod is the biggest 2142 mod in players and servers. It is the leading mod in security and it has got an additional game-mode, "Flag By Flag mode" which is used by almost all clans in infantry matches. Apart from that, there are loads of features, in fact so many that I can't mention them all here. Some of the most popular ones are the server settings which allow you to disable commanders (very good for infantry wars) and turn on/off infantry only (no vehicles allowed). Then of course, the Chat Administration Script is a very important part of the Clan Mod, where you can easily change map and perform a round restart ("RS Live") with easy chat commands, if both teams agree.

The Clan Mod also has several public servers up for people who like to play the game without all the unlocks and ranking (yes, there are players, and quite a few of them, who enjoy teamplay over ranking). It is also used in a lot of European leagues, and in a big EA-sponsored tournament in Russia.

If you take a look at the server list, you'll quickly see that all Americans are playing "2142pro" while the rest of the world (mostly Europeans) is playing the BF2142 Clan Mod. I don't know exactly why this is, but I think CAL had a big part in this when they decided to use "2142pro". In Europe, all major leagues such as ESL ( http://www.esl.eu/eu/bf2142/ ) are using the Clan Mod.

Now, if you're not playing clan wars, you're probably not gonna like the mod and want to
play vanilla, ranked 2142 instead. However if you DO play clan wars in 2142, Clan Mod is the mod for you!

I also have an all-new mod coming up for the 2142 clan scene, which is currently undergoing a closed alpha test :)

Here is the server list, for interested. Every night (European time, that is) over 100 players play BF2142 Clan Mod simultaneously, making it the biggest 2142 mod.

So what are the changes clanmod made? Gameplay changes, or just unlocks, cause when I tried it it gave both teams 1st level unlocks only.
