BF2142 Freezes During Installation

I am trying to install BF2142 and it freezes at this point, C:\... \Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\Moves\Legal_na.bik

I just bought the game today, so it is brand new.

Any help would be appreciated.

How long does it freeze for?

I've had similar issues when installing programs (you have Windows XP?), when it freezes during install. I find that I just have to wait a very long time and it will eventually start going again. I think my wait was upwards of 30 minutes.

When I got a Vista machine, the install bugs stopped. If you're on XP, that could be the case....
