Mount VDrive not working

Hello!
So I thought I would join into some battles again after a LONG break. I wasn't able to play since my DVD drive is messed up and won't realize that a disk is inserted. Whatever. So I decided to create an Image of my original disk with Alcohol 120%. Worked flawlessly. Anyway, when I mount the image with Deamon Tools and start BF, it will tell me that I need to insert the DVD. Should it not be working with DTools? How do you people mount your images?
The image itself is in *.mds format. Emulating copyprotection is turned on and I am running the latest DTools version 4.09 on Windows XP SP2.

Now my drive disappeared completely.
I still can not use my image of the disk. It will always ask me to put in the original disk.
Now I am thinking of using a crack. **** this. PB can ban me if they think a legal player shouldn't be able to play the game - **** them.

Yeah! Crack is working just fine! Screw EA, PB and DICE for not letting us play the game without the DVD.
