I'd rather have a delayed game than a bug-ridden user-community paid beta test like BF2142 has been.

All I know is that this game looks great to me and I've been waiting for it for a long time. I plan on playing it. :salute:

Never played 1, but i heard it was good, so cant wait. Oh yah and getting HL2, Ep. 1 & 2, plus portal and TF2 all for $50 helps too.

In general I have not a single serious problem with Valve games. The same I can not say about 2142 which just stopped working after I bought 8800 GTS. Oh, the single player works as long as I care to play but the multi just CTDs after some time (1-5 mins of game play).

Besides Team Fortress 2 looks like it's gonna deliver

Don't get me wrong, they're good at supporting their games. They still patch the original HL on rare occasions and that's about a decade old now.

It's just that they never get anything out on time and it's usually still buggy when they eventually come.
