    Servicemen

    I have found out that theres loads of ex-servicemen playing BF2142, we have 6 in our clan alone... I was just interested if any of you guys are ex-servicemen? I was in the Royal Navy and served in the Falklands War..

    my dad is a captain for the 1wfr and is currently in operations in afghanistan
    my older brother is in the royal marine commandos and will be deployed back to iraq or afghanistan in a few weeks.

    i myself am an ex cadet. have full respect for the forces though:)

        none of my family served, im the only one in my family for like 5 generations thats gonna be in teh military.

          I am still in the service with 2 tours in Iraq completed. :)

              Here in Finland you must go to the army when you turn 18. So i have been in the army but i haven't been in action.

              And my grandpa(R.I.P.) was in the army when Finland fight Soviet Union. Served as an engineer and was injured by enemys mine.

              Just a little add-on.

              World's best sniper was also Finnish. He served in WWII.

                Dad was in the REs in Korea and got blown-up by a shell, said if i ever joined-up HE would shoot me:laugh: next day went to the RAF office to sign-up.

                              Not personally, but at least five of our 50+ strong global Americas Army team where active service personnel from the US, Russia, Israel and Australia. It's quite common, but then AA is a proper tactical infantry simulation run by the army (with no respawns). BF has always been more "fast and fun", compared to AA's intense tactical feel, and I can quite expect servicemen/women to get into it.
