I'm just saying, you get out of it what you put into it. If you aren't a leadership-oriented player, it probably isnt the most enjoyable experience and you won't get the same feel of accomplishment for a round win.

Yeppers. That's the way it goes.
Sorry to be a hairsplitter, but the whole truth about the commander score is this (scroll to the "commander" part)

I don't have any problem playing the game as a SL or member even if the teamwork isn't top grade, but as a commander i feel a bit more irritated when ppl ignore my orders and that's why i don't find commanding that entertaining.

I see where you're coming from. I find that if I VoIP with the SL they tend to listen more... or by talking to them I get a better idea of how they want to play the round (offensively, defensively, or simply repulsively :p) so I can give orders that match their playing style. Of course that doesn't work all the time and some SL will even tell me to STFU. Regardless, I still spend most of the round scanning or zooming in throughout the whole map and spotting the flankers and those sneaky cloaking recons that always manage to slip pass the front line.

Being a SL does have a lot more excitement since you're in the middle of the action and when leading your squad you get immediate feedback and can change your tactic on the fly. You do get much more responsiveness ordering your squad than a commander ordering the SL's so I can see why some would think it's boring in comparison.
