I suck with the Voss

I suck at both. I just hate Assault class.

i hate that assault and support have absolutly no anti armor cappability, even if my enemy is stupid i cant touch him in armor unless thier a rorsch around, and on some maps, theres little to none.

It's a very good thing so you won't end up being called a noob by numerous of players (such has myself).

Find a gun that you like and use it.

at least support has emp grenades to annoy the vehicles. Annoy them enough and maybe they will get angry and reckless.

i prefer stock pac rifle and only use baur when on EU. I used to use the voss as my main assault weapon but grown out of it.

its nice that the scar is getting some love. I hope they add a burst fire selection mode on it, although i fear it may overpower the gun and turn it into a G36E

Just don't pick the peekay rockits instead of the Herzog, it is a waste. At least, that's what I think.

Nah, Herzog is a waste, it sucks at killing anything. (go Clarking if you want a shotgun) Might as well use your gun if you're gonna kill something THAT close... and it doesn't give you the shotgun pin :P

I'd say: leave it. You suck with the Voss, then just don't touch iit. The Baur is better then the Voss when you are accustomed to it, and combined with the Herzog you'll hav a very reliable infantry killing machine at your disposal. Just don't pick the peekay rockits instead of the Herzog, it is a waste. At least, that's what I think.

Heh, that's always my assault loadout - Baur + Defibs + Herzog. Not that the rockets are bad, it's just that passing up a shotgun option would go against everything I stand for.

Besides, I've found the extra four rounds of shot to be very useful in close-quarters situations in case I'm out of ammo and often times I switch to it when I go to a CQC situation so I don't burn through all my Baur ammo in two seconds.

HOWEVER, I'd never say that under any circumstances the Baur is better than the Voss. Maybe it's marginally more accurate at long range, but the difference is negligable. The damage isn't any better in the long run, there is extreme muzzle climb with the weapon, and the 20-round clip can leave you high and dry. The Voss trumps the Baur in just about every situation. I don't use the Baur because it's the best rifle in the game, I use it because I've always had a soft spot for underpowered/underappreciated weapons. :p

exactly. most guns are very lethal, thats cool. but most guns require some degree of skill to become lethal. the more inaccurate the voss gets the better it is. while the mgs are getting better in 1.4. id rather have a rpk or saw any day of the week. those things slaughtered when used properly.

IMO Voss is at it's best in short quarters or when you run into an enemy :p Other than that I think the other guns are great, especially Baur although Krylov and SCAR is almost as good.

i tried to use the voss on several bots on 1000% difficullity while they were around 75m further away.

What i did was this:
30m+ single shot mode
30m- burst mode
10m- i think you know what to do next rofl

you all go on about the voss being this and the voss being that and no skill... you have forgotten the one factor that makes any weapon.. the player using it.. if the player has no clue and cant hit anything then why is the voss going to make him some unstopperble creature... if the player has got lots of skill then put any weapon in his hand and he will own your ***... if the voss is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD why can i still beat voss users for points and k/d by using krylov/scar/ganz etc
