nar man i bought the computer and it gives me the option at the start to use vista or xp and ive been using xp because i cant login to vista since the muppet never gave me the password or discs to access it.

what happens is when im playing the screen will just freeze and i can hear some things still going on in the round but cant escape, alt tab, nothing.

got northern strike working again so thats one thing sorted.:hmm:

sounds like its a heat issue since its started randomly happening i'd check your fans and ****, if not try doing a system restore maybe something has been autoinstalled and therefore has corrupted the game somewhere

completely re-installing bf2142 fixed it for me before.

Dont get any problems now, even on Vista

Hey xslaneyx I shouldnt help you because you knifed me this morning on Camp Gibralter!!! Dirty8_2005 ring a bell!!!! HMPH!

Anyways, I had exactly the same problem last night, just crashed and couldnt even ctrl+alt+del!

Tried everything then reinstalled 1.25 patch and then loaded bf2142 and got into the server menu then press the red cross "X" button top right to close bf2142 then reload and it solved my problem!! :)

Btw I also emptied the bf2142 cache directories in the "my documents" folder.

most people know of these sites and most people probably use them. I simply caught someone(or 2) admitting so. As mentioned before its a heads up should you encounter the players.
