Hola, My son loves to play BF2142 as we all do, I am trying to figure out how to use a gamepad for the game play. I have success in all areas except for the COM Rose, I can map the main radio key to a gamepad button, however when I use it the COMRose pops up but does not allow me to cycle through the communication options. Very frustrating as we enjoy spotting for our mates. Please help!!!! PS If you are going to tell me that gamepads suck or we should just use the mouse and keyboard....save it.:salute:

You should be able to spot enemy, but nothing else. Normally when you hold the Q button and press fire it will automatically say "infantry spotted" if it was infantry or "walker spotted" if it was a walker. In short you dont need to go through the spotted menu to specify what you have spotted.
What happens when you hold the com rose and move the joystick? does it move the com rose? -
No, and when I hold down lets say run or crouch I can still look around..So I assume that the mouse capability is functional during these actions, so why not when activating the com rose.
