Voip doesn't work on the server

I help run a server and the Voip doesn't work on the server.Now i have enabled voip in cc and when you press voip in game it will show the green voip light but theres no sound.Any ideas?

That answer's his question. Some servers run multiple instances (servers) off the same box and if you have the VOIP ports set to the same number they conflict.

Are you using 2142cc or just modifying the serversettings.con? If you are using 2142cc make sure you don't have "Use and external VOIP Server" checked off. If you do it will override the internal one built into the game. If you are just modifying the serversettings.con file make sure these lines are in there:

sv.voipEnabled "1"
sv.voipServerRemote "0"

u sure u on a server that supports voip, in the past i see teh little mic icon in the server selection screen but often voip doesn't work on that server for me or my clan mates, make sure you try out multiple servers, where other people are using it and u can hear them talking

I have a voip related question. I'm trying to get my mic to work on Vista in BF, but the battlecommo-config program that comes with BF just doesn't seem to 'hear' it. The mic works fine but when I try to set it in BF nothing happens. No sound, no nothing.

I could start an new thread about this if you prefer. Just let me know.
