this is to my fellow snipers how many of u use a spotter or even an escort when you are sniping behind enemy lines

i suppose you are speaking of conquest cuz titan has no "lines". i would say a good medic covering 6 and healing a sniper is a good asset, but they must know how to stay hidden and to stay close when moving.

When I'm on Tunis Harbor, i mostly snipe on that map and I'm there with 2 or 3 other snipers as well as a support guy equipped with IDS and Ganz/Clark while we shoot and he gets ammo giving points.

I snipe quite often on conquest, but I usually do it defensively, so I don't go behind enemy lines much. (I do end up there sometimes, simply because the nearest CP was capped by the enemy ) Generally I don't bring anyone with me. I do my best not to be seen, and the more there are of us, the greater the chance someone will see us.
Plus, unless I know the guy, I'd rather not have anyone with me while sniping for fear he might do something stupid and blow my cover. Yes, I've that had happen all to often on certain maps.....you know, the times when he's standing up in plain view, when we're in a great spot, yelling "I got supplies" as he drops his ammo hub for the whole map to see. :wall: I just wanna yell "Get down, keep your trap shut, and hold it, don't drop it!!!"

Well really having men with you is blowing your cover, nothing worse when you've just got a great spec and a support spawns on you and just sits next to you blazing away, cos within a matter of secs a few rockets are heading your way

Same here i snipe to support my squad. I give them the orders and find a vantage point looking at the flag and hopefully back them up. I did get a couple of knifers yesterday.

I did think i wonder if they know how close the where to loosing their dog tags.

I know what you mean Ezek. If I'm support or medic and see a sniper (or someone who looks like he's in a sniper position) who needs health/ammo....
I'll go to him, climb the ladder or stairs, or whatever... Go prone and hold the box out till he's full. Then I get up and leave. No sense blowing his cover by shooting with him.
