Motion Mines Bait and Explosives

Hey guys I was wondering if you throw a MMB on an explosive (say a RDX demopak) and the explosive blows up on someone, who gets the kill?

If the person who deployed the RDX gets the kill, wouldn't it be chaotic if someone throws a MMB on the titan core where there's a lot of people and RDX on the core?

r u sure u can make rdx blow up with MMB? :S thought it was only motion mines it worked on..

It works on all explosives, and it seems to be 50/50. Sometimes I get the kill, sometimes its an enemy TK... I have yet to see a pattern.

Eh... but the thing that caused the kill is the mine. And I thought the bait just does a force detonate (as if someone had tripped it or it had collided with something). It really shouldn't be 50/50. If it's like all the other cases of defusing a bomb by exploding it, the person who planted the bomb gets the kills, whether it be a TK or killing an enemy.

I once tossed a MMB at an enemy tank, and a bunch of enemy mines headed toward it. Anyway, the tank driver was like "WTF?!?" before they blew up. In the end, I got a kill with Motion Mines. Another time I was playing port Bavaria. I tossed some of the bait into one of the docking bays, and it forced 5 TKs on some poor bastard (who got kicked for teamkilling :p).

I know that if I detonate enemy explosives with the Zeller and the resulting explosion takes out enemy soldiers then I don't get the kills but the person who laid the explosives gets a TK.

Even funnier is watching an engineer laying MMs and then detonating them in his face with the Zeller :evil:

Yup, I threw the MMB on a floor when I saw an enemy planting the RDX on the corridor beside it when...boom...I guess he killed himself :)

Is right, you caused the explosion, you get the kills.... or in most cases TK's.

It's a sneaky way of claiming a Goliath destruction. Pop a MMB on to the Goliath an watch everyone's mines in the vicinity bob their way over.

Has happened to me on a few occasions.

Has also been dealt by me on occasion :laugh:

(the best was the enemy engy jumping over his MM as I explode it and he flies from silo 4 to silo 2.. I laugh ed so hard I was crying :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh: )

Guy kept RDXing the opening of the vent on the titan, tossed one in and exploded it, he runs over to drop another and I tossed again and blew up in his face, killed him.

Then drop in and proceed to tea bag... LOL

They always said there were unexpected things the bait would do, explode RDX and APMs isn't one I expected.
