Should transporter shields protect you from titan aa guns?

I say yes. It would make the transporter the #1 choice vehicle to board the titan. It would also make it feasable to get the drop off pin

the AA gun turrets need to have the bullets weakened just a little, or make the AA guns more easily destroyed. As it stands right now the AA can shread a transport or gunships in about 2 seconds.

Nope, any half-decent pilot can avoid the titan guns, leaving just a small window of opportunity were they may be fired upon, which is usually insufficient to destroy an completely undamaged transporter.

In summary, it's fine as it is.

Nah. It's boring enough sitting in the AA turret.

In my experience the Titan AA are hardly ever manned and the only situation where they cannot be avoided easily is when going for the Titan drop pin.

It's too easy to avoid the AA guns to weaken them :P

And a 'decent' pilot can land without leaving any window at all to get a shot at the transport. The key is to approach the titan from below the titan AA range AND above the titan bottom guns all the way until you reach the titan. Once you reach the titan you should be exactly at the same level as the titan, then fly laterally along the titan and land on the bottom landing platform. It takes a little piloting finesse but it guarantees not a single titan bullet will hit your transport.

AA turrets have like a 1 in 100 chance of hitting a moving transport so i say NO.

this is a range based issue imo. i think at short range it should go right through the shields and decimate the air vehicle. and at medium to long range the shields should work as implicated. the key is that people who actually try to manuver thier dropship so they arent exposed to titan aa should be rewarded with a successful landing. people that just try to fly over the enemy titan should get blown to hell. but with shields on, they should at least be able to realise thier mistake and correct it.

No, Transports can already get on the Titan easy enough.

i think the titan AA's should overheat.

i think most weapons shouldnt overheat, or atleast it should take a billion times longer.

                            totally agree here.

                            EDIT:

Actually i do think there arch of firing should be decreased a bit to give the transports a bit of a let off, at the moment its get it right or get shredded, there is so little space between landing safely on the titan and getting shot down by the AA.

should take less than 7 rdx to kill it
