Is the Geforce Go 7950 GTX compatible with BF2142???

My menu screen flickers really REALLY badly, like words repeat themselves across the screen, words disappear, can barely see enough to join games. The background of the menu just flickers constantly aswell. Have tried adjusting resolution, downloading drivers.

Also, in game, my cross hairs tend to dissappear and flicker just like my menu, which makes headshots real hard lol.

    Specs:
Geforce Go 7950 GTX with integrated RAMDAC
    Windows Vista Home Premium
    2 gigs of RAM
Intel Core T7200 Processor with 2 Ghz duo core.
    Directx 10

    please help!!!

thats weird man, it must be a vista issue or something is screwed up in your laptop, when you installed the new drivers, did you run driver cleaner after that? if not uninstall your drivers, restart into safe mode, run driver cleaner, and then reinstall your drivers.

also have you tried deleting your cache folder in my documents>2142>mods>2142>cache??

Mobile graphics are not supported but it does not mean they will not work. Your problem will be the Vista graphics drivers. Go to the NVida website to see if they have any other drivers.

PS you are using DX9 not DX10.

Thanks, but no luck yet, deleting cache didnt work, same problems still. Ill try uninstalling drivers, could someone give me some directions on how to do that? I know how to uninstall, but am wary as to what that will do to my laptop after that, and where is the drive cleaner?

about dx, my dxdiag says im running dx 10, even though my gpu doesnt support it lol.... that may be the problem, ill try installing the dx version before 10, that may solve issues.

I have the same video card than yours, and I deleted the cache folder in \\My Documents\...BF2142...etc, and installed the latest driver from Nvidia. I have settings maxed, and all works fine...with winXP... As mentionned above, maybe a Vista glitch
