avoid death dealers server

was playing on there tonight. their leader dbl tap banned me for "spawn camping". i didnt kill anyone in their uncap. i was in the middle of the map almost the whole game defending the three flags there. at the point i was kicked, i was assaulting the enemy titan. i did kill the dbl tap guy numerous times though. i did notice someone get banned earlier for "aimbot", that gave me a good chuckle, but when it happened to me i was a little miffed. anyhow, avoid that server cuz thier leader is a ****ing pretz.

I was kicked to make room for admin when the server was only half full, funny thing is i killed an admin a few seconds before the kick. Some folks just hate being killed and being an admin gives them abusive powers. I just found a new server and never looked back.

ya is really pathetic. if and when an roe gets implemented, it needs to protect the player not the admin. i mean, aside from cheating, theres really no wrong way to play battlefield. i can understand kicking and eventually banning for cursing but really, the only possible gameplay thing a player can do wrong is ram.

EA created the rules of combat probably a month ago. Go search the EA support site for "rules of combat" and you should be able to find them. They're fairly similar to the BFROE that nobody wanted to follow (imagine that) but worded poorly.

As for "the only possible gameplay thing a player can do wrong is ram" is purely your opinion. There are many legitimate rules that can be imposed on gameplay - no spawn camping, stay out of uncaps (as long as assets are allowed to be destroyed), no suicide tactics, no bunnyhopping - and it's your job as a player to find servers with rules that you enjoy.

**** that. i really dont care that you are the one paying for a server, seriously. spawn camping is entirly legitament, and while bunnyhopping and suicidal tactics arent legitament, they are part of the game. its up to dice to change thier game the way they think it should be, not to tell servers that they can set whatever bull****ty rules they like.

but that has nothing to do with the original thread, i was just warning ppl that this server has admins that kick for skill and call it something else like spawn camping, which i was not doing at all.

There's ana busive admin in my server but he is one of the four leaders who founded the clan.. so I can't do a lot about it really. A friend of him (another clanleader) was already threatening with my getting kicked out of the clan if I kept on bitching. Well, I'll keep bitching till he loses his goddamned admin power. I'm an admin myself and I know how tempting it can be to kick that pk sdpamming bunnyhopping voss whore but I NEVER EVER kick anyone for personal reasons.

Spawn camping <> Base raping, so you dont have to be in the uncap to qualify for that.
And with that attitude you have to server owners and rules, I wouldnt be surprised if there are many bans in your future.

like hell, im only gonna get banned by ppl that ban for skill (like death dealers). i follow crappy rules when im in those servers. i just dont agree with um.

making rules against "base rape" de-legitamises the whole point of conquest/titan gameplay modes. why you might ask? teamwork, thats why.

lets say i kill 2 guys that are defending a flag, would it be smarter for me to keep killing them as they spawn and wait for someone else to cap the flag while i cover them, or would it be smarter to run in there and get shot in the back. hmmm i wonder. on the flip side, if i keep spawning at a flag that i know is unsecure (i keep getting shot), is it smart for me to keep spawning there.

thinking of stuff like that is part of what makes batlefield a great game. its really sad when server admins try to tell people how they can fight, considering spawn camping as illegitament is sad.

I hate joining those servers with the "No uncap vehicle stealing. No entering uncap base unless to destroy assets" Because i feel like i am going to get kicked if i kill anyone that spawns in the uncap, unless i let him shoot at me first.

Enlighten me, explain how baserape is counterable.
