A few clan mates and myself were playing the clan wars server today... this guy "josef350 josef350" joins our squad. Now, we're kinda known for our banter over voip/vent, but this guy wouldn't stfu. We asked him to please calm down, or we'd kick him... we ended up having to kick him from the squad.

A few minutes later, he's commander for our team, and starts spamming the SL with voip, singing, cursing, etc... this persists for a few rounds... eventually the mutiny votes start, which leads to kick votes... After 4 or 5 rounds of that, he begins TKing us. Orbitals on our squad, nade spam , then knifing... more kick votes fly around... he ends up with scores of -20 to -50 for about a half dozen rounds w/o a kick. Eventually he gets teamswitched... within about 5 minutes we notice he's TKing that team too. (apparently they didn't like him much either) eventually, the server crashed, but I'm astounded how this $$$hat was able to TK into the -40 range for 4 hours...

Pretty simple really. You were playing on a bad server. Theres settings for negative scores and kicks for a reason. A server that allows someone to go -40 should just take a yelling.

Edit - Seen it was the clan wars server lmao. I thought they had those settings setup already.

I pissed off a wannabe admin once.. killed him 17 (!) time sin a row with ze clark. He typed !B DutchDude fuk u nerd. Nothing happened. I started to laugh at him... and he switched team. Tk, tk, tk, rk, tk^tk2. It didn't stop. I punished him every single time. When he had about -110, I asked him "Feeling better now booboo?", THEN he realised that his score sucked. "It aint ranked anyway *****". "It is!"
Wannabeadmin has been disconnected from the server.

I would have left the server after the second round of that. Why did you guys stay for five or six rounds subjecting yourselves to this crap?

Are you sure he was the admin? Knowing how admins are I am really surprised he didn't just kick/ban you.
It seems he would kick you for killing him too much, laughing at him, saying "Feeling better now booboo". The thing that bugs me the most is that the admin WOULD know if the server is ranked or not so considering this, I doubt he was really the admin but just a normal player.

You can mute individual people (ie. the commander) to prevent VoIP spam from idiots. Hold down TAB go to Manage and put an X in the VoIP box associated with that player and you won't hear them anymore.

my SL tried that, and it wasn't working for the first 2 hours :cry: eventually we did that (while he was trying knife our squad)

I don't get why he's a "talented" TKer. 40 TK loss points is about 13 people. It's really not that hard to kill 13 people, especially if they aren't going to actually fight back.

You could always report him for harassment.
But screenshots / battlerecorder would probably be required for that.

I don't advocate reporting someone for just being annoying, but at dedicated griefer needs to be removed from the game.
