Backfired Plans

Lets here some stories about how a clever plan backfired on you or someone else.

My Story: Yesterday, Titan Mode (Sidi). I was flying a transport (trying to get a ribbon). Anyways, heading towards a flag, the transport empty except me. Almost there, an enemy APC pulls out in front and below me. Suddenly I am hit with an EMP (I think it was from the APC, but maybe not). Down I go, crash into the APC, 3 Kills for me. Unfortunately it was a no ramming server, fortunately no admin around to kick me.

when i was trying to blow up an APC with my RDX pack at belgrade, I ended up taking out my whole squad :p

I was driving an APC around and saw a transport coming into the silo I just finished capping, so I tossed an EMP at it (normal procedure for me). What I failed to take into account was it's flight path... the now recently disabled transport proceeded to crash right into my APC. Luckily I was able to bail out before the APC blew up :p

I think it was an =FSF= server Actually it was Suez Canal, not Sidi.

Playing on non-clan serv is like playing 2142 on easy mode.

I was in the second position of the APC and my driver was being an ***, i saw about 7 people all in a huddle so i fired, just at the point when my driver moved, i ended up hitting a close wall killing about 2 squads.

Shuhia Taiba I'm on the PAC guarding the silo #4.

I'm sitting in the ground AA and a transport comes in for a fast landing and a full load jumps out to cap the silo. They're all out of the chopper so that's too many to go against since there was just me. They haven't noticed me yet so I decided to go for the hail-mary... wait for them all to get back on the transport THEN shoot it out of the air and THEN get the silo back.

The plan worked... they capped... they all got back in the transport... they lifted off... I point the AA... then I hear the dread slicing sound of a knife being driven into the back of my head:dead:

Lost the silo, lost the load of kills, and lost my dogtag at the same time... some plans seem so foolproof in your head.:shakehead:

The enemy titan shields had just went down so I grab an apc and head off to attack it. Pod up and kill a couple enemies in the rear door corridor bits. Make my way to one of the lower corridors and ease my way around, about to shoot anyone down the hall way.

Turn the corner and see one of my teammates already there so I thought, super, all clear and ran down the hallway. It was then I noticed that my teammate wasn't attacking the console but instead was prone on the floor looking towards the corridor entrance.

Recently:

Know that tower near the Uncap flag on Cerbere Landing? I was on the top of it and saw someone approaching it, possibly wanting to shoot me down. Dropped down thinking I could have gotten a free Dogtag, tried getting him in the back a couple of times, but he eventually turned around and knifed me instead. Didn't feel very good. :p
