Im a very, very young 37! and my dad is 62 and he's played all the battlefield series! I started out on the spectrum 48k, hehe, anyone remember that, can still remember the game too, Manic Miner, lol.

49 (but my sig says 45 I think). Started out with a Commodor64. I remember the Mattel Odyssey! The downhill skiing game was t1ts! My online gaming started with the Original MechWarrior Series (Clan Grey Wolf) on my 733mhz machine with DSL. Then I was into PS for awhile as I was doing voices for the games. Came back to online FPS with 1942, BF2, now 2142. And yes, unless your parents bought it for you, us old farts can usually plunk down the $$ for the sickest systems in the universe - but we also realize that you don't actually HAVE to be on the bleeding edge to still get good performance and have fun....

I must agree that is true. Now if you move to Halo, or any console games you will notice very many immature little kiddies playing online.
