Clark has always been awesome, but you have to use it constantly to be any good with it I find. Even with the increased fire rate it still takes a descent aim and there are too many sprayers to bother with it, over the ganz or voss.

OH, i love the clark when i go support, but i take ganz when deffending the titan corridors, and now i play assault cause i need like 10 hours for gold, than,, i gonna make the support badge.:yay:

Nothing like turning a corner and looking into the Clark barrel and a sec later its 15 second vacation. A friend of mine is plain scary with the Clark, it's not like it needs an upgrade :P

I'm a pretty recent Clarkian, Clark was my 2nd-to-last weapon unlock (last was Zeller. :p) I also use Baur+Herzog, but at the moment I'm trying to get recon/engineer hours for more shiny gold badges.
I always use the manscanner + EMP nades/Clark RDX.
When I run towards an enemy flag, I drop the manscanner and let it scan once for dots then pick it up and carry on running. Then I leave it next to the flag and get to work.
EMP nades are really handy for locking down vehicles. Drop manscanner, drop ammo box, spam EMPs. When their gunner/friend comes to try and kill you give him a warm Clark hug in the face and go back to EMP spamming.
Clark RDX I only find useful for titans, but it's pretty much the only method for clearing people out of the vents and in 1.4 it should be even better when it can detonate explosives.

The hit registration problems can get ridiculous sometimes. I once fired 4 clark shots into someone from less than a meter away (seriously, I'm talking sexual-harassment-lawsuit distance) before he turned and shot me.

Clark = "This is my boom stick", I love this gun, and I can not wait for the increased ROF, although I am admittedly not as devout as thou art. I use the Ganz for Defense and Clark for Offense. After all; it is pretty offensive to get one's face blow off!

You arent the only one. Thats the main reason why I quit using it. When I aim and fire, I expect to hit my target... especially at that range.

I have tried the 1.4 Clark on Tampa and found that I forget that it can shoot faster and just tap away at the button like I always do. The new one is scary fast at firing.

Yeah, lag/stutter is easily the worst enemy of the Clark, and I'm sure (since you're a sniper) you know how it can bork over your sniper shots too.

A lot of people seem to be unaware that a shotgun even exists in the game, or unprepared for the playstyle that accompanies a very-close range weapon.
Yesterday I ran into a mob of enemies and noticed all but two were facing away from me! :yay: I shot the two who saw me, got a double-kill :laugh: on two who were proned next to each other facing away from me and I was just about to finish off the rest of the squad with my pistol (Takao, not that damned Pereira. If I was an EU soldier I would submit an official complaint about that thing. When you zoom it blocks half your screen and when you fire it completely obscures the crosshair and you can't see anything :hmm: )when suddenly

Yes, some people are far too liberal with grenades. I see people all the time who just lob grenades everywhere, often getting themselves more TKs than kills. When you see your teammates rushing an area, don't litter it with grenades people...your teammates have these things called 'guns' which allow them to kill enemies without taking down all friendlies, too! :hmm:

The clark shotgun is already powerful enough...if it fires faster...then camp gibrawatever will be screwed.

noob friednly guns make the game accesible for the people who HONESTLY (this isnt an insult to anyone) suck at aiming....not eveyrone is a hardcore gamer.
