Can someone explain the difference between these two, and the correlation between them. My buddy has about 19000 global score, and I am only at 15500, yet I am a good 3000 Career Points and a whole rank ahead of him (Field Com Gold vs Silver). What is going on here?

AHHH!!! WRONG!!!
Global Score is your general score, aka this:

Career Score is your Global Score + Awards + Squad Bonuses + Away Bonuses.

So, in this round my Global Score is 43 and my Career Score is 113.
Global is your heals/revives/repairs/kills/assists etc. Pretty much whatever shows up on the scoreboard in-game.
Career is EVERYTHING from that round added up.

ah, so basically my friend is really good at outscoring me in the actual round, but he isn't a very good squad leader or award winner, as that seems to be where I have him beat in career

Alright so let me get this straight...
I get a combat efficiency pin, Assault Gold Badge, Distinguished Combat Efficiency Pin, and Infiltrator Pin. I also get points for reviving, healing, and assists.
So Career Points is everything added up. But the global score doesn't include pins or awards or badges. It JUST includes the raw points earned on the scoreboard?
