How to install??? (w/o disk)

Hey, i un-installed 2142 a while ago as i got bored, but i want to play again now but i have lost the disk.

However i have my CD key and an old backup of 2142(v1.10) files on my external hd. What files do i need to copy across to my c drive?? In order for the game to be installed.

By the way i have ***** cracks that work for v1.25 i just cant patch the files on the external hd. Any ideas?

You cant move files from one HDD to another, when you install the game a load of registry enteries are created.


If you dont have the disc, or a friend doesnt have one then you are screwed. Buy a copy/new copy

well, the simplest way is to borrow the disc from a friend and install using ur cdkey. all problems solved.

Thats the thing, you only copied the game files over to your other HDD. There are no registry files to copy.

Unless you backed up the whole of you hard drive.
