    Half foot falls

You know those little drops that force you to put your gun down and not shoot? I think I might have a solution. You can shoot while dropping (but not skydiving) but you can't shoot while you're jumping up. So once you hit the top of your jump, you can shoot again, but not very accurately. But at the beginning of the jump, you can't shoot at all?

    Get what I'm saying?

      How's this question?

How come if you hold the mouse button while falling (or jumping or whatever that causes you to drop your gun) the gun doesn't fire when you hit the ground?

Because if hold the mouse button a second too early the gun just idles there waiting for a mouse button.

Like when you drop down the titan vents your gun is up but you can't fire. It happens with smaller drops too.

Shooting should only be disabled when you're moving up in the air, not down.

You try shooting a machine gun while falling. Your wasting bullets and breaking your arm.

Um.... When I jump while holding the mouse button I start firing when I hit the ground.

rofl u do knw that if u go flying in the air firing a assualt rifly in real life u be going weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee with the amount of spinning and what not u will do

i admit its annoying as hell if ure in a 1v1 fire fight and u stop of a pebble and have a delay in shooting so u end up loosing, i think it cud be a good idea if Dice implemented a code that allowed for certain heights for certain amount of delay

like the drop from titan is fine

but if u jump of of a small ledge there would be a slighter smaller delay time to start firing

if u get my idea =P

Good idea but I think it should be applied to going prone too.

Your accuracy should be terrible the first few seconds after you go prone. There needs to be a bigger penalty.

yeh i still see alot of players when facing an enemy go prone and the enemy is like "wtf :S" pew pew *dead*

alot of players forget the damm penalty for going prone (thnx to bf2 dolphin divers) took me ages to kick the habit and kneel instead.

but yeh i do think that its a good idea to implement a shakey accuracy when going prone, since if u got a lmg and u are prone u pretty much can take out squads of pac or eu :hmm:

I actually did some tests with all of the automatic weapons and found that prone v. crouching showed VERY little difference in the spray cone. About the only reasons for going prone are to become a slightly smaller target, sniping, or when you're going to be in the position for awhile (who wants to hold CTL for 5 minutes? :p )

I love watching people dive to the floor when they see me. I just hit CTL and blast their faces off
