Okay, so I install the Incremental 1.25-1.40 patch and the 1.40 patch. Now I can play Highway Tampa, but there are only around 10 or so servers (there used to be almost 400), the game kept freezing until I renamed one of the files (its in one of the other threads for game freezing), and now the servers crash (disconnecting me) almost every other game! Is there a way to be able to access the older servers so I am not stuck playing Highway Tampa all day long? Or should I just wait until the 1.40 beta testing is completed and wait for the servers to update their patches?

u gotta reinstall to play on 1.25 again, if u didnt backup ur old files. i dont believe the final 1.4 will be out so soon. -
When you uninstall the game, is there an option to save your profile data or is there a special way to preserve my profile during the uninstall/reinstall process?Comment

go to My Documents\Battlefield 2142\Profiles, save the stuff inside.Comment

At the end of deinstallation it gives you the option to save your profile, server configs, and screenshots.Comment
