Promotion question??

If I am playing and get promoted during the round but then leave before the round is over, will I stay promoted or lose that promotion?

You still keep your promotion and all your stats during that round. I know this because whenever i leave in the middle of a round or i get disconnected, i check to see my latast pins or awards and they always show the ones that i got before i left.

I always thought the same thing too - that I'd lose stuff if I left the game early.

But if your team does win and you leave the game before the victory, you miss x2 points for the win - so in a way you do lose points if you leave.

Do you get to keep the points for any medals etc that you won during the match if you quit early?

The points will count toward the awards that have cumulative requirements (Like the pins that require 100 heals, x hours) etc, but if the award requires an immediate gain, like a Combat Efficiency Pin or Rescue Pin, it won't be saved toward that pin if you leave the server.

basically every point earned during ure time every pin.medal.ribbon.rank earned is all there if u quit b4 end so u get all of it since the server still sends the info u just dnt reap the reward if re team wins

You do get your reward how do i know? i just got my promo and left and it recorded.

The points/awards show up sometimes right after the round ends, sometimes a few hours later.

The only time points/deaths/awards from a round DON'T count is when the server crashes.

Not ALL the time... I've been disconnected after getting a badge and it didn't save (it wasn't server lag, the other awards saved...) Instance was: Playing a NS map, got Transporter Ribbon and Vehicle Gold. Those two recorded, however my Assault Silver did not save when I got disconnected about 2 minutes after getting it.

I'd stay on the safe side and stay in a server until the next round starts then leave without spawning :)

If your lucky say you get an award worth 1000 points, then you leave before the server ends, then join another server you can get that award again lol
