I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I came up empty with SEARCH.

Can you get multiple ribbons/medals? Other than Bronze/silver/gold medals?

Yeah, you can get a bug where you're rank shows up as a private in the round. You still have all your old stats, but you can get all your awards over again. I've gotten it with all of my unlocks, and without any before (can't remember if you could get your awards over again on that one. I couldn't stand it and left almost immediately ).

Of course, it isn't exactly legit, but it isn't cheating either, because you can't control when it happens.

So to just clear this up for me. I join server as a private no unlocks etc, will I get say basic engy repair or basic recon combat if I fulfill the requirements?

iv had this a few times its very annoying since i few times i get kicked from squads (good teamplay servers) caus there like ure not got a high rank (even tho i spawn next to him holding a baur or whatever)

just annoying when sometimes it takes away ure damm weapons aswell :cry: and have to rely on stock

(mind u some stock weapons are better than unlocked ones :shock:)

At least in BF2 you coyld get multiple meadals and ribbons.

For example the purple heart - you get it every time you meet the round reguirements.

The private bug got fixed a couple patches ago. Sure, at the end of the round it'll show you earned badges/ribbons again, but the points for those awards will not be added to your global stats.

half true. they made it less likely to happen only, cos i got it again a few days ago.....
