Unable to use keyboard and mouse ingame

This is a strange one. Once i get onto a server iam unable to use my keyboard and mouse at all, so i have to restart. My keyboard and mouse work fine before i start the game, menu and even when iam loading the map it only happens after i click join game. Any help is appreciated.

All your controls are unbound. Go to your options and reset to default.

I get that after a few hours of play on a Saturday night, I figure it has something to do with the alcohol :)
