Titan?

this is a question any of my clan mates has asked... is it a bug or a hack when you are defending the titan, you have half shields and consoles still intact, then all of a sudden your console is gone and the sheilds are gone and you lose...

I take it that you mean half the corridors shields right? Otherwise there would be no point in defending the titan if the shields are still up

The Titan constantly takes damage from the missiles, so sooner or later it will go down.
Are you sure that is not what you are seeing?

sorry i didnt explain myself right.. the shields are down but the shaded part of the titan at the top of the screen is half full... you still have 1, 2 or 3 consoles left then all of a sudden its all gone...

you still not say what with ondition of your titan (health) at all, it can be destoryed by missles in this time and after that you will get also msg than all consoles are destroyed etc

I seem to recall hearing of Recons glitching into the core room, with predictable results.

Or they could use the Commander Hack.

When you have the commander hack you can out an infinite supply of supply drops down, put tons of them next to a silo, then cap the silo when it is capped it just continually fires, and you titan blows up pretty damn quick. It's just a continuous line of missles.

it happened about a week ago on the timeless nekro mongas server.

i just thought they were messing about with hacks etc so left when it happened

Yea maybe they have, am not sure, just know that is a way it could of been done. Hopefully they have fixed it

Other than that all i can assume is they glitched into the core and blew it from the inside.

I think he means that you can be defending the corridor knowing that no one has got past and then the console blows and the reactor room is opened.

They musta glitched into the core and taken it out instantly...

Or the Titan health is very low because of silo missiles and finally destroys them. You still could have all 4 consoles undamaged tho.

no, its not fixed yet, saw it pretty recently on an au server, sadly...

And I believe the core hack/glitch is still around- I've seen it post 1.25, anyway.

I forget, though- Is that another one you can only do on FF=OFF servers? I *think* I've always been out pubbing when I've seen it...

no, your sheilds are down but your health is 50% .. with 1, 2 or 3 consoles you may have left, with no one in the core, then all a sudden GONE!, consoles blow.. titan blows...
